IDEX printer "ready to be perfect"
Ohodnoceno 3 z 5 hvězdiček.
TLDR: it is great printer which need some mods and totally new software. Anyway, it is the best printer in the actual (23-11-20) price level and I will be happy owner - after finishing the printer
+ simple and effective bed leveling,
+ hotends can be easily changed
+ nice prints from PLA to CF nylon
- useless touchscreen when print directly from PC or OctoPrint (no information about status except small notice about actual tempertures, the standard RepRap display offers more information)
- hotends with non-standard heatbreakes (mod exists, available on Snapmaker forum)
- even LED on/off results in reset temperature's setting during printing from PC/OctoPrint
- noisy Cooling fan upgrade kit, with no direct control from panel/gcode
- Standard firmware doesn't support "HOST_ACTION_COMMANDS" in Octoprint (it exist official open source firmware based on Marlin for J1, so you can compile it yourself)
- undocummented Addon port.
